As well as yer must-have titles like Halo 2, Fable, Riddick, Burnout 3 etc, there are a few other games that have caught my eye in one way or another coming out in the next few months. I reckon they'll be overshadowed slightly by the bigger games but should still provide a few hours of good, solid gaming. Three that particularly interest me are:

X-Men Legends: Get a posse of your X-Men together, 15 to choose from including Gambit, Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler, and take on a load of enemies from the X-Men Legends comic books. Level up your X-Men in RPG, though not too beardy, styling to give them new abilities and skills. Graphics-wise, the game looks decent if not appearing a bit too cutesy at times. They went for the colourful, comic book look which is a refreshing take from the dark, atmospheric console Gauntlet-RPG's we've been getting recently.

Flat-Out: A gritty looking racer that apparently puts emphasis on the destruction of the vehicles ala Destruction Derby. The follow-ups to the original DD had been god awful so hopefully this should revive the dumb, me-smash-car-good genre...which I enjoy. As well as the race modes there'll also be the destruction and figure-of-eight events. Should be good with a few mates around.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders: A tactical RTS/RPG romp, but on a console. Never played the PC version of Kingdom Under Fire but this one sounds good: play as either a human or dark-side hero, command up to a 1,000 units on the field during the bigger fights, over 30 types of unit all of which can gain experience and be upgraded as well as the natural resources such as higher ground, type of terrain and even direction of sunlight which should make fights a bit more tactical. Gamesradar (well, one of their mags) called it Full Spectrum Dynasty Warriors. I'm looking forward to it.

So yeah.

Flatout looks and sounds awesome! Its the game Destruction Derby Arenas should have been. Its high up on my list of games, the only thing that worries me is that its released around the same time as Burnout 3 I think - Still there should be room for both in my collection!

Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
