Could somebody recommend me a cheap 3.0GHz Processor which I could use to play games ie Battle field etc.
Also would it be hard to setup? I would get someone into to do it but they totally rip me off.

For anybody to recommend a processor to you they would need to know what socket form factor your motherboard has. That would still be stabbing in the dark.
If you want to post your motherboard make and model I will try to advise you. Some information on your memory and graphics card would help.
In the majority of cases it’s better to upgrade processor, motherboard and memory as a set. Then it’s further complicated by the need to upgrade the graphics card to support PCI- Express, a power supply to provide the extra connector and power required by P4 processors. That done your old hard drive is still going to bottleneck your new system.
The advice I give to most people is save your money up till you have enough for a complete rebuild or new system.
