I thought I would share a little tip I've picked up about getting ITV HD if you're on Sky HD.

You'll need to have been updated to the new EPG, which Sky do automatically, and do the following:

1: Go in to the Services menu
2: Select Add Channel
3: Ender the following:
Frequency (GHz): 11.427
Polarisation: H
Symbol Rate (Mbaud): 27.5
FEC: 2/3
4: Press Yellow to search.
5: Find channel 10510, press yellow to add.
6: Press Select to save.

To view ITV HD, press Services and go to Other Channels

You don't get any TV listings, or seem to be able to record, but if ITV ever screen any HD content, it'll be available to you on Sky HD.

Yeah, heard about this on the AVForum site but I'm not one of the people on the beta trial unfortunately :(

There was a small firmware update the other day which added a few more editing options and some more filter options to look at programme listings under.

pb, did you see this from the BBC - iPlayer to launch on Freesat?

You'll have to let us know how it works when it's available - it could make me get Freesat!

Which brings me to mention that ITV will have Star Wars III on next Saturday (or should) in HD and then the original trilogy in HD the following Saturdays after this.

And Freesat owners can record it all in HD.

Unrivalled services
Freeola has to be one of, if not the best, ISP around as the services they offer seem unrivalled.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
