No, one knows, but the only effect it will have is buy being fitted shoddily, PS2s are built in Hi-tech factories, and many have problems, to take apart a fully working PS2 and fit a mod-chip in your bedroom is a gamble, and getting one fitted in the back room of a shop isn't much better!!
is it a good deal is what i wanna know and does this mod-chi paffect the life of a PS2?
You can get mod chips which sort both the DVD and let you play backup games though!! You can always be a genius like me an have both cable types set-up!! Buy a PS2 AV-out connector. Plug your RGB SCART into the end and then into the TV, then wire up your S-VHS connector to your TV, then your audio connectors to your hi-fi/amp!!!

if you are finding it hard to find the spaces just go to wwwtechtronics.co.uk and there is a link at the top right for PS2. apparently it plays DVD through RGB, thats good right?
