Girlfriend went to work this morning, I sat down at the PC to work. I got bored at about 11am, downloaded "Louie Louie" by The Kingsmen. Classic. Picked up guitar, it's really easy to play. Played it, sang along, rocked out, back to work.
She gets home and enters the house humming and singing the same tune. We had no contact all day, it's not been on the TV or anything - I downloaded it because I read an article in NME about banned tracks, which reminded me of it's greatness. She hasn't read the magazine, I haven't hummed it, sang it or played it until this morning.

She's telepathic.
I know how you feel. Weird stuff like that has been happening to me for a few months now. For example today whenever I thought about someone or a group of people today they came into view in the next ten seconds.
I think it's The Shining.
Either coincidence or because of your close personal relationship you've developed a kind of telepathic bond, and the strength of you singing, listening to and playing that song somehow transmitted the tune or rememberance of it to your girlfriend.
Bit like twins really.
She doesn't trust you, so spends all of her day spying on you.
