Basically, I want a simple piece of software that will change the names of my music files from "Track **" on all of my music into "X band- Y song".

It only has to change names without corrupting the music file, which simply renaming them can't seem to handle.

Any ideas?

The majority are B-sides or unreleased too, so no. WMP doesn't name them for me.

I do have an iPod, but iShare didn't work.

They're a variety of different file types, but none are on my iPod. I just play them on Nero Media Player or similar, because the majority are videos.

What programs do you use to play it?

And do you have an iPod? Because iShare or PodShare or something transfers all your iPod music to your PC, and you can call it by any number of ID3 tag variables, title, album, track name, number...
