If you're after First Person War games, then I suggest Medal of Honor series and Call or Duty, also Vietcong.
If after Turn based War, then try Heart or Iron, Europa Universalis 2 and ofcourse Total War series

Did anyone get Cold War Conflicts was it any good?
Rome: Total War and Age of Empires Collectors Pack (Gold edition, II, Conquerors expansion - for II - and a rather odd soundtrack...)
Also, MoH is an FPS, not RTS. Same for CoD and Vietcong.
