Battlefield 2 tends to chug a bit, so I ran a test over at PCPitStop on my GeForce 6600GT, and it said that I have "unusually low video performance - 94.94 MP/s".

Any particular things I can do to my system to fix this? Or any drivers to download?

The rest of my rig is:
3.0GHZ
512MB RAM (soon to be upgraded to 1.5GB RAM)

Cheers in advance.

Remember that PC Pitstop only tests 2D graphics. Most top-end graphics cards are optimised for 3D graphics - though you can often find drivers which offer improved 2D rendering.

Yeah 77.72s are better in general for performance, it runs all the latest games where as 77.77 has issues with WoW and a few others.

Reefer

Right click desktop > Properties > Settings tab > Advanced > Geforce tab > Performance and quality option > Image settings in the window > Drag the arrow to high performance.

Turn off virtical sync.

If you want a bit better performance in BF2 use the older 77.72 as they give a few extra FPS in general.

I've no idea. Is there a way to find out without opening my rig up?

yeah, that was only one of my suggestions. Perhaps your computer doesn't like ill-gotten software or pirated episodes of 24 or something. A computer with morals - the end is nigh
