Metal Gear Solid
Driver 1 + 2
Tomb Raider 1,2,3,4,Chronicles
WWF Smackdown 2
Gran Turismo 1 or 2
Crash Bandicoot 3
Medal of Honor
Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9
Vagrant Story

PS2:

SSX
TTT
Z.O.E
Star Wars Starfighter
Shadow of Memories

I think I agree with mattyboy although what is Final Fantasy 8 in there for? This is a disgrace to the Final Fantasy series, what a pile of sticky brown stuff that was! Oh and syphon filter 2 was good as well.

I personally can't go without Gran Turismo 2. I still haven't finished it yet.

I'd add the two later WipEouts, V-Rally 2 and Tony Hawk's for the PSOne. And just to stoke the fire a little, I'd still say SSX is the only essential PS2 game...

Have you seen the new Wipeout game coming out. It looks amazing. Lets hope it plays well.
