A real fan's favourite. Everybody loved him at the Bridge. Everybody else I spoke to said he didn't do anything and was terrible, which clearly showed that they'd never watched him play. I can understand it I guess, but he played 52 times overall last season (34 out of 38 league games) so I don't see why he wouldn't play this season. Jarosik's gone :) so that evens out Essien's arrival....

Tis a sad day :'(

What are you talking about? I'm a season ticket holder.

I don't go to Lyon's games.... hence I'd never seen Essien play given that that was his debut.

Yeah it's either that (Baia don't play anymore...Scolari always picks Ricardo for some reason :/) or:

Ricardo
Paulo/Miguel-Carvalho-Andrade-Costa
Maniche-Deco-Costinha
Figo Cristiano
Pauleta

Yeah...Gomes owns Pauleta :(

I think Tiago wants to like come on as a sub, like he did for Chelsea in the last 20 minutes or so.

EDIT: Aw...I set it all out nice and spacey but it looks crap now :(

You can shut your bas mouth.

Mourinho "So yeah, We like Portsmouth and would send our players down to them as I think they play proper football."

Pomp "Okey dokes, we'd have Alexei then"

Chels "Oh dear, his wife doesn't want to leave London and as Alexei has handed over his balls he's gone to Charlton, sorry :("

Pomp "Okey dokes, we'll have Jarosik then, ta."

Chels "He's gone off to Birmingham"

Also I'm angry with Sky because since we lost our media ho of a manager we haven't had nearly as many live games on telly. So one of the few that we get on Sky this season are Chelsea. Great, I shall expect a hard fought win by Pomp. But seriously, what is this balls, Chelsea vs Pomp? That's now a competitive game, it's a chelsea training game.

Blah.
