Just another heads up that 1.0.6 might be out soon as well (the candidate has already been released).

Candidate?

And why doesn't the browser have those "critical update availble" thingies anymore?

Not to sure if anybody here is interested, but Firefox 1.5 BETA is now available (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/).

Apparently new CSS additions have been made, as well as SVG support being added. I haven't really used it much, but had a quick look at the new options menu, and don't really like the way they've repositioned the current left sided icons to the top.

Haven't had a look yet due to issues surrounding extentions from older versions. Hear lots of good stuff about it though. Biggest plus is the moveable tabs at last.

Just installed, but as you say, it's annoying not having any of my extensions working - bar TabBrowser Preferences.

Moveable tabs is great though! I was hoping Vista was going to allow taskbar items to be moved, but I doubt it now.

What I hate about Windows XP is when I have many windows/programs up, it bunches all the IE windows together which is incredibly annoying as I'd rather they were just squashed up like they do in ME, I hope they resolve that with Vista.

I downloaded FF but I'd prefer if it didnt have "Beta 1" in the title

Cheers.

Does anyone also know how to make FireFox download window close after each download is complete. It's annoying that I have to keep closing it every time I download a file.
