I got my PS2 working. Took it apart as much as it can be taken apart, cleaned everything possible, blew a lot of dust out of it, and now it glides like a swallow on the breeze.

Now, why should I play this instead of my Xbox again?

I must add that it's been sitting next to my TV, broken, for well over a year now. Played neither games or DVDs, and I've yet to see it if plays PS1 games again. Was about to put my whole PS1 & 2 collection on ebay too.

You should play it if it has the type of games you like to play. If it doesn't, don't.

Cryptics aside, what games have come out on the PS2 as of late, that I can't find on Xbox, and are good?

god of war, tekken 5, MGS3, devil may cry 3.... the list goes on much longer. i recommend MGS3, but im a kojima nut.

Gran Turismo 4

God of War seems to be the main one at the moment. Looks pretty good, but I don't have it yet.
