Indeed, buying Owen will be stupid since we already have too many strikers, we might as well play 4-2-4 next season! Unless of course Fergie is looking to sell 1 or 2 of our current fowards?

Mascherano would be a great signing but we'll probably end up signing another Dumba Dumba on the cheap.

But they've already made an approach for Gattuso, and AC turned it down out of hand. And Chelsea have had a 25 million euro bid for Essien turned down, so I can't see United getting there ahead of them.
