Meh, they don't look half as good as in the screenshots or on the back of the case; the buildings are all rough round the edges and the same with the cars.
Is there anything you can do to make the game look better? like in the last one you could turn something on or off and it improved the graphics a bit.

The graphics in GTA games are never a treat on the eyes.
They'll continue this way until Rockstar stop desgining the games with the low spec PS2 in mind. it's a miracle that with the size of the game, it looks as good as it does.
Should be intresting to see what they look like on the next generation though.

The graphics are good enough, considering the size of the game. Plus you know GTA has never been about great graphics, it's about great gameplay. Like yesterday I was playing GTA1, graphics gave me a sore head, but it was great fun.

Yeah, but at the time when it was released, GTA 1 graphics were perfectly fine. I never saw nothing wrong with them.

Does the fact that it's on the PS2 mean anything to you?
It's the least powerful console so you're not going to be getting amazing graphics considering the game is so big.
I'm waiting for the PC version to come out (it is coming out right?), then you can get good graphics.

If you fiddle around with the display fo the game, brightness and all that it looks much better. Plus there's always the Xbox version that will look better

I checked in the display menu, and i can't find the option for the trails.
It is coming out on PC isn't it?
