He was quite grumpy before, but he was getting used to us, and he'd come and sit next to us, even turning his back or lying as flat as he could get (a sign of complete trust, apparently). But now he won't come near me. Worse still, I can't get him out his cage today (he's normally out 9am - midnight, later than most of you!) because someone is coming round to install Sky Digital and he'd probably bite their neck off.
Combine that with us reducing his food because he's quite the tubster, and he must think that we hate him.

It probably died ages ago and he just kept replacing it so as to not upset you too much.

I type stuff like that all the time but I usually see it before I post and go "Why is that there?"
