I think it's something to do with the analogue. I placed a 2k bet on a 15/1. Rolled the analogue round and it seemed to win. Just a theory.

Come out of Grove street and you'll pass a right-turn onto a bridge, on your right hand side (after you have gone under the other bridge).
Shortly after there, still on the right side, you'll see a bar with a Neon Green sign. Go in there and you can play Pool for money. It's pretty tricky though, so don't bet too much straight away.

Cycled up to a cabin near the base, then found a scrambler behind said cabin. Almost fell off a few times too.
