A lot of us here on UKdiscussions.com dont have a credit card. Ok, ok some of us do but not most of us do! So that means we have to go through our parents to get things of SR and a lot of the time they say..

Oh not now, or not today!

I recently went on a website called Splashplastic.com and ordered a free Splashplastic card, I dont know if any of you have heard of this but it allows you to buy over the internet, but only on certain websites.

I think it would be a great idea if UKgames.com joined up. Gameplay.com and Jungle.com a joining up but I really wanna spend my money on some good deals, and it could make SR a bit more money.

I have already entered this into Tony's good Ideas link and I hope it goes through and is used because I think it would be a really good idea!

How does this card work? Would it be like a credit card that any kid could use and risk getting themselves into debt? Plus a person under 16 probably can't get into this sort of contract legally so there might be a problem there! Anyway how can you be sure it's safe of fraud if it's being issued by a company on the internet who will already have your details and a way to get money out of you!

Don't trust them! ARGH THEY'RE BEHIND YOU!!!

Yeah, I've heard of that. There's a similar thing called SmartCreds too:

Pretty cool idea - I was going to apply, but decided to stick with my credit cards...

It is not like a credit card you go to a shop that you locate on their web map take a certain amount of cash with you and your card and the shop swipes it and that is the only amount of money you can spend on the internet.

It isnt illigal and has been advertised on some tellyvision programmes so it is perfectly safe for anyone to use!

I just wish that SR were part of it!

also solo cards would be a good way of payment for purchases. Some one mentioned this earlier and would make me buy much more stuff from the site without hassle of borrowing my mums credit card.

So you have to put money into a seperate account? Why not just get a credit card account? I suppose you could only do that if you had the money to keep it open though...

You but a voucher worth £xx and pay it into you splashtastic accout over the phone. you then use the card to buy something from a compatible web site.

Special Reserve could do with putting a shop in Cambridge because then I could get there easier.
