Has anyone got this that can tell me what it's like and whether it's worth it? Also can I just get a second hand one from for example Ebay and use that?

No, it's crap, don't bother. Or if you do, at least get one of those 'Top up TV' things so you can have a couple of decent channels.

I have a freeview type thing. A useless set top box with the weakest signal booster money can buy.

Don't bother with it unless the channels are exceptionally good. I get about sixty channels. Half of them are radio and most of the others don't work due to the weak signal.

Just out of interest, what was the point in having that in italics?

I thought you didn't have to top up or anything, you just pay £60 and have the channels that come with it.

I want it mainly for Sky Sports News and ITV2, the rest are alright.

Sky Travel has some great programs on late at night, just random 'club reps' type programs or roller coaster things.

There's some OK stuff on there, for £40 it's fine.

Because my freeview is crap. Looking back on it now, I'm not sure if it was the most effective method of getting that point across. Ah well, never mind.

How can they not have Freeview in your area?
Where do you live?

It mainly sucks, but is better than normal, even rubbishier TV.

I don't want everyone to know where I live, but I live 'near' the Southend area.

EDIT | BTW, I checked on the website.
