My mate has just, somehow, managed to get us tickets for the U2 gig in Manchester with Snow Patrol supporting.

I'm rather happy about it.

Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me was the U2 song from Batman Forever. Best thing about the film.

The Futureheads are awful we're-so-quirky music for blog kids, The Libertines are only cool because OMG he does coke!!!.

But Razorlight are good. Just not as good as the Killers.

Yeah I generally find them annoying. All show and no substance - and not in a good way because they pretend to have substance.

I liked the song they did for one of the later batman films. That's about it.

U2 just annoy me.

U2 me are a "best of band" i'm not a huge fan of all their albums, but if you whack together there best tracks you can get more than 10 tracks i'd like to see live. "Sometimes you can't make it on your own" their latest is actually one of their best, bet it would be awesome live in the evening. songs i'd like to see:

I was going to make a jokey comment like 'if they played (song name) for 2 hours, I'd go', but I don't think I could sit through any U2 song for longer than 10 minutes.

And Killers album of 2004? Did you not listen to The Libertines? Or The Futureheads? Or even Razorlight?

I refused to pay that much.

Still, I'd like to go, saw them on the last tour.
