Most of the time they were no cheaper than their rivals anyway, but now with the extra for postage I feel no need to buy from them any more.
If this has already been discussed then I'm sorry, but i felt like having a rant.
The prices for new games have increased by only 50p if you want first class postage (I'll come to that in a minute), but stuff that used to cost £15 will now cost £18 if you want it any time soon, which is quite an increase.
I don't understand why 1st class postage is £1 more than 2nd class. A first class stamp only costs 7p more on average (12 book of 1st class stamps is £3.36, 12 book of 2nd class stamps is £2.52,a difference of 84p, or 7p per stamp). So basically SR are screwing you out of 93p everytime you pay for first class postage.

No, but due to bad business models, or a depressed market some businesses go into a period of losing money that they've been building up over previous years, in the hope that business will pick up. Sometimes it does (e.g. the Travel Industry is picking up this year after almost every Tour Operator losing money in the aftermath of 9/11) but for some businesses it doesn't, so they either change or die.

Thats the best way to go. The members only thing only works when the prices are much cheaper than the rivals.
Pity.
It's only the GAD. And I haven't even done that (purposely) for months and months.
