I know I dont wander across these parts (sounds a little yank i just watched clint eastwood and have his darn dialect in my head at yee moment)
But I would like your help and advise from supposed 'intelligent' people - :)
Right, Tomorrow I am travelling home to Essex for a wedding on the sat. I am going in eve leaving me the day in Kingston (upon thames not jamaica) to look for a wedding present.
They are close friends, a cool big sis figure in my life (Girl from Southend Church back home) She rocks, The dude rocks also - bla bla mushy mushy but WHAT DOES A SKINT STUDENT BUY AS A WEDDING PRESENT!?
My Mum said 'tea towels' - ya thanks alot Mother,
Please think what you would like - or what you may have purchasd she did mention practical things for their new house would be great
Help me SR - I have left something late for once!

My advice is to either ask them what practical thing they need, or just buy them something they may want of the top of your head.
You're a student so they won't expect much if anything. I'd say as a token thing a small bottle of Champaign for about 13 quid, (small bottle of good stuff rather then larger bottle of home-brand), is a nice idea. They can use it to toast their future when they're alone and keep the bottle or cork as a memento of their first night together as man and wife.
Well maybe a Kitchen is a little too far.. but a wander around an Alders wouldnt go a miss! Nice one - (now is there one in Kingston!)
