Oh, and would anybody happen to know where I can get the Nathan Barley Episode 2 torrent from?

If it has the date and time, just as much use as a static IP.
All the records show is who (i.e. your IP address) downloaded what torrents. Considering these logs were growing by Gigabytes per day, the sites couldnt handle storing them for long periods of time, up to the point where most sites either scrapped them, or kept only the last few days of logs on their systems.
the logs owuld have no legal standing, either, since all they prove it that you downloaded the .torrent file, and nothing else. If it does go to court, all the MPAA can prove is the fact that you downloaded a 'key', but there's feckall proof that you 'used' it in any locks... That proof is (theoretically) on the torrent trackers, which in practise don't actually store any info.
And anyway, what good's an IP to the MPAA if you have a dynamic IP?
I have seen on a few forums people complaining that they are hading over the records to the mpaa but i just think, if your downloading illegal stuff you run the risk.
I stopped getting films about 6 months ago due to a lovely letter from paramount.
