Shame it's the Pendragon pictures version. I was worried when they mentioned "desktop cgi", and was right to. Check out the shot of Big Ben getting trashed. It's awesome for all the wrong reasons. Totally and uttely laughable.

I found out today that a friend of our family is working on WOTW. He also worked closely with Stanly Kubrick . . . if thats how you spell it.
Special effects look crap.
So three versions of it coming out...? Bandwagon...on...jump..

Yup, and of course, they're saying their version is the definitive because it's the first version to be true to the book. What a damn shame. I'd love to see BB trashed by a studio that could actually pull it off. Ho hum.
To be fair, the tripod legs looked pretty cool (even if they moved "wrong") as did the lass in the weird blood sucking (I presume) machine. Shame about all the rest..............
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If the Cruise version doesn't have tripods, I'll be spitting teeth.
