I don't usually venture outside the Pro Wrestling forum, but I seek some advise today, and was hoping you kind fellows could offer me some.

I am looking to buy a decent set of speakers(for PC, console and MP3 player), money isn't really my concern, unless I'm being ripped off. It's the quality of sound I am looking for.

I was looking at these, but was concerned if they are worth my while or is there something else out there that'll do a better job(or the same job for less cash)?
I'd appreciate any help, thanks guys in advance.
Feel free to pop in and ask me a question about Pro Wrestling anytime!(except for "how fake/gay/stupid is it?")

Hmmmm indeed.
In the PC/console speaker market the other major manufacturer is Creative and for a similar price you can get one of their 7.1 systems. Yet at that price range you're moving into professional speaker market too. For myself I have both Logitech and Creative speakers and am happy with them (neither are 250+ pound systems though :P). So not alot of help I'm afraid. :)

Your biggest problem is that its an entirely subjective issue and how much of a sound connoisseur you are. In my opinion its alot of money to spend without hearing them first. Any local shops you can impose upon to hear them?

Not really anywhere in my vicinity to try before I buy. What model numbers do you have?- perhaps I'm setting my standards far too high!

Well, neither of them are even made anymore. :) The creative was/is a cambridge soundworks 5.1 system, I paid about 80 pounds for it. And I dont use either of them anymore, all my sound is routed through my stereo system which produces better sound than either of the speaker systems.
Not being much help I'm afraid. :(
