The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
Are you still using it?
I particularly need to know if it gets busy or whether it is usually empty.
Grix and Reaper.
I got booted for no reason, apparently another Goatboy was logged in.
Asked Reaper what happened and I recieved "heh heh" in reply.
I cant be dealing with childish behaviour so I refuse to use chat anymore.
Nice idea, bad implementation
Just because people don't use the 'Maxgames' chat doesn't mean they won't use the SR one....
Go to www.softwarefirst.com and look at their chat...can you have one like that?!
(Just to let you know, don't buy anything from there.....they don't respond and probably don't deliver either!
Chat looks good though!
It would be nice if some of the traffic from the forums could be transferred to the chat room - there is a lot of stuff that isn't really relevant to most of us, which would be ideal stuff to go in the chat room.
So how to make people use the chatroom?
> What chat room?
There's a Chat Room link on the home page of UKdiscussions. There's been a lot of talk about it on the site - perhaps you were on holiday.
But anyway, yeah there's never anyone in there
> What chat room?
I just looked down and saw the other replies of the same nature, but my reply is serious.
