What an utterly, utterly awful piece of dross. I've heard people say it was commercial and stuff, but I just put that down to it being a Hollywood film and they were goths. But, boy, it *is* one long commercial. First 5 minutes are a joke. I thought they were still advertising stuff, but the film had actually started. JVC, Converse, Fed-Ex - those goths weren't kidding.

The biggest shame is that it had quite a good plot. The thing about the robot laws, how they can be broken (although I thought they would do something more clever, like it didn't know it was a robot, therefore rules do not apply. But they didn't), and the various twists - acceptable, I've seen worse. But the rest of it made me wretch my soul up.

The only film I enjoyed with Will Smith in was Enemy of the State. But then, it had Gene Hackman and Tom Sizemore to save it.

'You made a tape?'

All the rest are just special effects nonce-fests.

Tom Hanks.

Flawless.

Smith is becoming a sellout. Well, I say becoming, after the 23rd season of Bell Air his soul was hollywood's.

So do actors like Robert De Niro but they continue to deliver faultless performances.
