As for Halo 2 - I loved it. Still do when it comes to Xbox Live play.
The library: Cross bridge, shoot brown exploding things in a room, cross bridge... Now repeat that about 20 times for a single level. Sure you have longivity, but you also have the dullest game in existence. I'd honestly rather play pong than that. Anyway, halo 2 = game of the year.

Yeah, what the hell is up with how slow the characters move in Halo?
It was too short. Not because it didn't take too long to complete, but because the story finnishes half way through.. it's like part 1 of a 2 part series. You just yearn for more!
I felt a few parts of the game were too similar to the first - in the same way the plot of The Return of the Jedi is a little too alike A New Hope (Oooo, let's build another Death Star!). Some of the levels had a distinct feeling of being lifted from the last game.
Some parts of the game were too disorganised.. I just got annoyed running through dark corridors as fast as I could to avoid the same old enemies.
But still, and awesome games.
