We are currently building a new website www.lemonzoo.com

We need php programmers, people to help control uploads and manage content. We also need administrators for the forum. If possible 1 graphics designer.

The lemonzoo team hopes to compete with ebaumsworld.com and for us to do this we need to be good.

Whats in it for you?

> You will get a 5% share of the lemonzoo profits
> You will be invited to join admin boards on other new websites
> You will know that you helped built lemonzoo !

Post here if you interested. We can only take another 10 people, first posted, first asked !

And what are the lemonzoo profits exactly? How do you think you're going to make money? And with all due respect, 5% is pitiful amount to offer people such as designers and programmers. :)

First thing I'll ask is what are you going to sell? Pictures and jokes aren't going to cut it.

My friend at college, kieran owns www.holylemon.com (Alexa Rank 25,324). He currently gets about $2000 per month from advertising on just this site alone. thats about $100 per month at 5% of $2000 if we can reach that.

Lemonzoo is new. It needs people to market it and it is difficult todo. It is a challenge and there is a small change that this venture may make no money at all, but if it does then for a few hours work a week it just isnt bad at all.

Lemonzoo has a team made up of 3 people. 2 programmers and 1 person who is resonsible for marketing, promoting, html/css design and lemonzoo content.

At the end of the day its just a bit of fun and its up to you if you want to join the team. 5% could be alot one day. There are now 6 positions to fill as 4 people have emailed me.

Please post with contact information if you are interested.

If you want more information just ask....

>> The forum admin, has to manage and promote the forum. 1 person is needed to look after the forum for now as it is new.

We are not going to sell anything for now on lemonzoo. We have a website in the making for selling MP3 players online.

The money is going to come from advertising...

Then I honestly don't see why you need more people. I freely admit I would have been interested. From what you've told us about the site though, 2 programmers is overkill and you certainly don't a third (me).

Apart from anything else, you're better sticking with people you know and trust. What if person X signs up, does practically nothing and still demands his/her 5%? Why should I (as a programmer) spend hours building the site but only get the same amount as somebody who maybe read the forums once in a while and made a few suggestions. You say its only for fun, but the moment you start talking about money, you put things on an entirely different footing and you change people's motivations for wanting to "help out".
If you need to recruit people, do it from the community you build. As it is, you're offering to give away potential profit to people for no good reason.

You have a very good point and that is why we will only take the best people (we test them) and give them tasks todo on the site. we manage the people and their time.

I've made about £20 off of my site this year, and mine is the 262,000 most popular site on the net! So you'd be a whole £1 better off if you worked on my site!

And don't expect to get loads of hits overnight, it's taken me ages to get my site to where it is and even then it's still crap. I'm getting about 800 people a day now which is OK...

I really need to get working on my new site...

But first, I'll have a poo.
