Like Grandprix, I have been scratching my head to come up with something that could fill the void left by the untimely demise of SRW and have come up with the idea of having a 'Promotion' competition.

This would involve, to start with, a draft of real-life superstars by all those who enter and therafter submission of a show to the organiser (me) each week consisting of a match listing and results and a very brief overview of the storylines (if any) involved in each match. Each weekly show would have a two-hout 'time budget' for the 'promoter' to allocate as they see fit. As an indicator of each promotions success, an attendance and critical review of each show would be added by myself. The attendance and critical ratings would be determined by such factors as technical ability and overness of the wrestelrs involved, logical booking, fan loyalty etc.

If anyone is interested or would like me to fill any blanks let me know and if there is enough interest, I'll start drawing up a list of wrestlers for the draft.

Cong Man, do we have a choice as to how often we run shows? Do they have to be every week, like Raw or SmackDown!, or could we adopt more 'indy' schedules (once every fortnight or so etc) or even Japanese tour schedules? And do we have to have TV shows as the basis for the shows?

Raven-ous, that's the minimum you have to do for a show. If you want to get creative and write the whole show out, then that would be great. But please included something like the above as a summary at the end of the show, to make it a bit more 'cut & dried' for me when I'm working out the 'scores'.

POP!
Is this all we have to do for our shows?
I thought we had the write WHAT was said in the promos and what happened in the matches(highlights, not just the winner).
An answer would be appreciated, Congers. As for rounds, is there another round before the women or just the women to go?
And what about referees?

I started writing something for that but after I'd written an ending for the match, I had no idea where to lead it. :)

Oops sorry, I was never actually able to do this. My computer has been broke for like the past month. Did anyone actually go through and do this? I can still write one up now if you want me to. . .
