im not sure weather to get a nintendo ds.yes it looks good to hold and the games are pretty decent but is it really a contender of the psp im not sure ... but what do you lot think?

Yes the quality would suffer - but it is digital compression, so you have to expect it. You cant get something for nothing. You have reduce the quality, or increase the storage capacity.

Is this true? Imagine what they could do with a 1 gig duo.

Does the quality not suffer though.

And 2 hour movies can be encoded on to a 512mb duo stick, using MP4. Lots of info about this already, all the lucky sods with PSPs who haven't got any games yet are spending their time encoding movies, lol.

The games on PSP will not be "region specific", but the UMD Movies will be. So if you buy PSP on import, you could play PSP games bought in the UK, but not "UK" UMD Movie discs.

In theory if you buy a high cpacity Sony "memory stick" for a PSP you could have more MP3 storage in that than on the DS. I think the DS is 256Mb, while memory stick's go upto 512Mb capacity (at a price).

also does it only play the certain region games like if you buy it from here you can only buy uk games or is it multi region like the gba and stuff.
