"18th Birthday Party"

It's a month and a day late but tomorrow night is my eighteenth birthday party.

It's so late because it clashed with other events, and I've had the nasty wrist-breaking incident to get over.

Almost everybody on my course will be going. My family will be going plus their mates. My out of college mates and their mates are coming. It's gonna be a night to remember.

There's gonna be music, dancing, drinking, kareoke, and an Italian-style buffet. Anyway, those of you that are interested in being there "in spirit", just say so.

I deny everything.

Why? I just don't like parties.
It's not like I'm some kind of disadvantaged kid with no money or opportunities.

I honestly think it's a shame, then, that you see it that way...

Because they all feature the same predictable, dull stuff?

Been to several. Never going to have one.
