I'm saving for a graphics card over the next few weeks. I want a really good one that'll:

a) Run HL2 like a beast
b) Run games for the considerable future like a beast

My current specs, if important at all, are:

3GHZ
150GB HDD
1GB RAM
Radeon 9200 128MB

Before my 9800pro used to crash out it would run it at full with 4xAA and at a decent FPS, plus there was a price drop and can be picked up at just over 100.

Also, the 9600XT is a very good card; and very cheap.

Are "Order247" any good? Saw an add in CustomPC, just wondering...

I've just ordered a 6800LE from order247.

Apparently, out of the box performance is comparable or greater than a 9800XT, and there's a very good chance of being able to unlock extra pipelines, putting it close to the pace of the rest of the 6800 series.

Pretty good if you're around the £150 mark, especially considering that you'd have to cough up almost double that if you want a GT6800 or X800 which, if you get lucky with unlocking the 6800LE, wouldn't really be that much faster than it.

Really, you sure? Maybe that why he want a new graphics card,
X800 only needs one power connecter (molex(I dont know how much you know about technical stuff)) where as the 6800GT has two, so if you system doesnt have much power to spare then you might want the x800
