So, Father Christmas gave me a copy of Metroid Prime 2:Echoes this morning.

As you may have heard me mention once or twice, my Gamecube doesn't work properly, but usually is fine.

Well.
I start up MP2, watch the opening sequence as Samus lands her ship on Aether.
Before I start playing "Fizzz crash buirn. AutoReseted"

Get a new one they're well cheap. I feel terrible for you, Echoes is the best game of 2004.

I can't afford to.
I don't have a job (no-one will hire me), and I have very little other money.

I'll try and fix it myself, teh chances of finding somewhere that can fix it are slim, so what can I lose? (Except the ability to play the rest of my games)

Does it actually give a real error?

And you've tried the oh-so-expert efforts of blowing at stuff and wiping shiny bits?

Of course, and no, no error message appears, the screen goes wonky, or jsut stops completely.

Well, that's my knowledge of this kind of thing exhausted.

If you can't blow it or wipe it better, you're in trouble.

Father mistmas broke my GC. Halfway in between Spiderfella 2 I get back from college and bam - it wouldn't work.

Did anyone see the Street Fighter Manga movie? The same happened to that too.

Santa broke it?
Or it just didn't work?
