Well I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think it would work. Most frequent users of this forum are intelligent folk, so I think they know not to make lots of threads about the same game so that's why I think this will work (I hope you lot don't prove me wrong ^_^)

Yeah but I think that valve have also activated pre-downloaded Steam copies.
Does anyone known if the retail version requires Steam as well <- if thats the case Im scr**ed as Steam will not run on the Uni network
