I've just got the new free AVG which seems all happy and shiny, however it found 41 infected files during the test and only removed 3 of them.

Does this mean the other 38 infected files dont need to be removed, or is it just pure rubbish?

I'd run adaware, spybot search and destroy and then get the google toolbar (to block pop ups) and also get prevx installed.

I've got Firefox so dont have a problem with popups and the like, I'm just running ad-aware now.

Well thanks for letting me know there's a virus and you're completely bloody useless and can't do anything AVG.

use adaware like me and many other people there is a free version on the site and it's very simple to use

I do use adaware however it doesnt get rid of viruses, mostly just dialers and porno pops.

Seems wierd how AVG would detect the viruses but not remove them.
