Is there any difference between the Japanese DS and the USA DS except for the fact you don't get the Metroid demo? You can make the language English right? Is there anything different or anything on it I won't be able to understand because it is in Japanese?

And just wondering, has anyone who owns the DS noticed any scratches on the bottom screen yet?

I found it funny when I switched my JAP DS on and it had language selection right away.

I just bought some screen protectors for £4 off ebay because I swear, whenever my sister nicks the thing, that the touch screen is going to get damaged.

Yeah, as soon as you turn the DS on you just pick the language from a touch screen menu. It really is so simple. If you want English, you press the word English - and so on! I would not worry about that at all.

How exactly do you change the language? I heard about the directional thingy. Anyone kind enough to post it here?
