Come on FinalFart, I know it was taken in good humour, but if you are going to get all sarcastic about it, you should at least spell things correctly yourself.
"There't"
Oh, the irony.
It's set for early feburary in Europe on Xbox and PS2.
Think I'll wait for the demo on Xbox though. After buying Star Wars : Battlefront, I'm in no hurry to give Pandemic another 30 of my hard earned squids.
Glad I did - it's fantastic! GTA in a military setting.
The only downside? Release date is given as "Winter 2005" - that's, like, a whole YEAR away! WAAHHH!

Mercenaries is a good demo, everything else is either crap, or just really old.

That would have been me then.
:)
And yea, you're right, it would have worked really well.

Sod up.
although your yellow-wedge head can't swim.
It has been said that in the full version the characters will be able to swim, just that what weapons they carry will determine how long and if they will in fact be able to.
Then again there are 3 playable characters in the game so perhaps only 2 of them can swim...
