I always thought a marriage was more for the bride and groom's family and friends rather than the bride and groom themselves. But then, I've just paid out a fortune for an engagement ring so maybe I was kidding myself.

Can't really say it was in our case, as we jetted off to Antigua to tie the knot and none of our families came with us, just me, Lucy and my best man...We don't like a fuss...

Now that's a good point...we got lots of cool stuff for the house we had just moved into, including a George Forman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine!!!

Thats the worse thing to do.. as everyone wants to see your marriage certificate.. even to change your name on the SKY subscription. :| Still doing it now and we've been married a month
