Yep, use GBAX.com. Lik-sang are tw@ts for customs charges. Don't know about Play-asia, so cannot comment. At least with GBAX, the unit is already here in the UK and they send you it via special Delivery - guaranteed next day by 13:00.
Atleast with GBAX you are treated to a year guarantee and no Custom Charges.

Everyone i've spoken to who ordered from lik Sang got Custom charges for £75.
Bit off topic but personally I'm not bothering with importing yet..although I got stung on ebay over a DS (but thankfully got my money back) I'd rather get one within the UK off ebay or GBAX. You might wanna try Gbax because what you will pay for an import + the tax you will get charged it will probably end up being the same.
