I want to join x-box live but i'm not sure that the AOL silver broadband package at 256kps is adequate,any ideas what the required limits are?

And isn't this being doubled or something?

NTL, £17.99 a month.

ive got AOL SILVER the Upload speed is 256k (like all AOL packages)
and connection speed is 256k.(which is being doubled to 512k soon)

my only concern is that AOL Silver doesnt support home-networking, so connecting to Live is apparently very complicated.

i would like to upgrade so that i can get Live without much fuss, but my parents r stingy.

Yep. The only way to get it to work is through a PC using internet connection sharing.

Please don't bother with AOL, there are literally dozens of better ISPs.

Nu-uh, I think with a 256Kb connection you only get a 128Kb upload.

Xbox Live needs a minimum of 256Kb upload.

Just break off from AOL and go with Pipex or Plusnet 512Mb/1Mb.

It will be anough but you'l find yourself lagging alot at times.

Ugh, get rid of AOL for a start.
