Anyone have/making plans for new year celebrations?

Is there anything you do each year that is tradition for celebrating the new year?

Do you spend it with family or friends or a mix?

If you go out for new year, do you think that prices are sky high as many places up there prices for things?

Do you have a quiet night in and class it as just another day?

Do you watch the New Year events that take place on the tv if you do stay in?

Anything else feel free to add...

Where did you find out how to do it.
Was it easy?
How long did it take?

We got drunk, and found some axes lying around, hence acting stupid in a garden in rather wet weather... don't ask me why, this was 2 years ago and in a state of intoxication!

Well I'm brewing 10 gallons of the stuff with some of my mates, and the longer you leave it, and more yeast you put in, the stronger it gets, so by then we'll be ready for some major spandangle-age!

And the last time we did this, a few years ago we were a bit too young! This time I reckon it'll be even more insane... though hopefully not involving as much running around with axes.

Disclaimer: I do not reccomend that anyone makes their own beer at age 15/16 as I did.

Dinner at home this year, no other plans unless i find something else to do. I'm not that lucky.

Me sitting in a chair trying to avoid family arguments and bitching is a yearly tradition.

Family

I dont think they're too bad around here and you always get something extra for the price you pay. The only thing thats extortionate are cab fares.

> Do you have a quiet night in and class it as just another day?

No, despite everything i love christmas and anyone who complains to me about it gets the eye O_o

Pretty much always although i think i was talking to you last year when New Years passed.

My mood always falls massively on January 2nd when it's all over. Knowing thta motivates me to try and enjoy the time before it.
