New episode just about to begin on Sky One!

They should can the Simpsons, really. They are going downhill now with even more ludicrous storylines in which they try to squeeze a laugh out of a worn out joke or something generally unfunny. They should have stopped a couple years ago and concentrated on making a film.

Ludicrous can be funny in its own way.

Or at least go back to focusing episodes on the actual funny characters, as long as they keep producing politically correct episodes with Lisa sticking her annoying mug in almost every scene with her right-on ramblings then i'll make do with my Simpsons DVD's of the older episodes and Futurama and Family Guy DVD's

What confused me is how great Futurama was and how poor the Simpsons was becoming.

ah the thing Futurama had that Simpsons didn't - distinct lack of Lisa

simpsons used to be amazing, the storylines were off the wall but pretty believable. but recently they've just gone from sublime to ridiculous - Tony Blair with a jetpac, Homer being locked in the tower of london after crashing his car into the queens carriage?

c'mon Groening, the writers are wrecking your glorious creation, mate.

It's more to do with getting as many famous faces in it now then coming up with a decent story.
