I recall two yeas ago when he was spotted in Pakistan, about 6 months after 9/11, I was in the US on a snowboarding trip, I went into my room and my mate said "Bin Laden's been spotted", at which point another guy walked into our room (I despised him anyway), and we proceeded to convince him that Bin Laden had been spotted in a Toys R Us in Oxford.
Heh. He believed us as well.
