Even if you do get a gmail account you don't always get to invite new people.

Presumably it's happened in some sort of Pyramid effect, those bloggers and employess got them, gave them to their friends, who gave them to their friends etc etc. They'd spread in no-time. Every-now and then, Google gives Gmail account users some more invites to give to their friends, and therefore the number of Users continues to increase...
So why haven't they released if it everyone that can get it grabs it?
All the good addresses shall be gone because no one will ever want to invite me.
