Incidentally, I read bincues and other images with daemon tools, which installs a virtual CD drive on my computer. Highly useful.

You, erm, got a serial for it by any chance? :P
With Magic ISO, simply load it up, File, Open, select your bin file and then extract it like you would do with winzip/winrar.

And you don't open them, you burn them to disc - unless you use a virtual drive.
