I want to download the stuff via the computer that isn't connected to the computer by USB (if you know what I mean - the software for the router is installed on the other computer). There's this whole port forwarding business, however.
Is this how I should be doing it?

If not, explain ffs. It's pishing me off.
:^D
And if it is the right way, I'll sure have fun entering all the ports.

Well if you find out your IP on your PC, and check it against http://www.whatismyip.com. If these match then your not behind a proxy, if they dont match then your behind a proxy. A proxy for your internet browser is usually set up by the user so if you havent done that then you probably arent behind one.
Its a right fecker.

One other thing is have you set a proxy up for your internet browser? As the proxy would effect the torrent and would likely keep your torrent yellow as if it was firewalled.
I disabled it, and it remains yellow.

Does it work with XP firewall disabled?
Bit-torrent is a hit and miss affair, sometimes you get excellent speeds and a green light, sometimes you don't.
I opened the XP firewall, but it remained yellow.
Bah.
I'm sure I'd have just completely ignored myself by now...
