Finally got through to the Nintendo people for the VIP DS pack.
Bloke on phone "And how old are you?"
me "er.....32...."
Bloke on phone "So you won't be needing a parental consent form then?"
Anyway, he told me that it should be with me by end of next week, otherwise I should phone back, and that was without prompting him for a delivery time. Good news, it seems....

Ohhh. You go do that :) I've done it at uni and people love it :D
I shall then take it to work and get reactions, thereby ensuring more DS sales...
Also gives the DS chance to pull a headstart :D
time to abuse GAMES refund policy if it's going to be the case.
but with reports of it getting put back to september :-(
still at least we get the firmware updates and the buttons that stay on the console
As for PSP, I'd wait for the UK release. Can't return it unless there's 5 or more dead pixels? Balls to that.
I'm so tempted to get a PSP imported from china for £180 delivered. but the fear of a dead pixel puts me off. I dont want to take that risk again!
Suppose it doesn't matter now though, best to get a UK one with warranty etc.
I attempted many times to be met with an engaged ring tone.
Attempted again this morning to be met with the engaged tone three times. The forth I got through and was told was 9th in a queue. Around six minutes later I got through to some boy who's voice hadn't even broken who took my payment and advised I would get my DS pak either Saturday or Monday.
> You should have asked for a form nonetheless.
Indeed, better to be safe than sorry!
