IF you still like them, no problems they are both good series, but I don't know about you but I have never heard anyone discuss one of the latest episodes in ages.
THEORY 1 - THE FILM THEORY
What do South Park and Beavis and Butthead have in common. Both had films made SP Bigger Longer and Uncut and Beavis and BUtthead DO AMERICA. What does a successful series like the Simpson's have? No film history.. so is there something about films that kills a cartoon? And if so why?
THEORY 2 - THE GAME THEORY
Maybe games kill them. SP the game was pretty poor.. ok i rephrase that REALLY POOR. Maybe this lost the series its respect as many paid like 40 pounds after being misled to think it was good. On the other hand B & B did have several games which weren't really truly brilliant.. but.. still it was a game. The SImpsons also have had games but I am in the belief that these were actually quite good. So maybe bad games cause the deaths of series?
THEORY 3 - MERCHANDISE
SP and merchandise. Remember those rubbish dolls you could get.. and the keyrings.. and the collectable models.. and the bags.. and the.. oh the list is endless. Maybe money hungry people killed SP who knows. B & B I am not aware of any merchandise.. please point out if I'm wrong. The Simpsons does have merchandise but there has never been as much to the scale of South Park.
If you any other theories or information, please post.
