I think that pc gaming has potential but it all depend on ho wgood your pc is. Some people cant afford an amazing graphics card, so i think that i isnt overly all fair. But there are some games such as command and conquer that are amazing and the graphics are very very poor.

How's it not fair? You want the cutting edge of technology, you pay for it. Simple as that.

I remember C&C when it was first released. I had to pay for an upgrade to play it with sound. Now it's very low spec.

You want a game the same on each machine, buy a console. Cheap, instant gaming.

I've just become a victim of the same thing. The quoted message will also add to your word count sixpacker. Some sad people seem to think it matters.

I kinda agree with you but, my computer 2 years ago cost me £300, probably spend about another £60 on ram then i have geforce 4 ti4600 cost me £160 2 years go must be cheaper by now, thats a old card and i can run eveything very well.

You can easily get a pc for around £300 these days that can play the lastest games. you just have to shop around and avoid places like PCworld.

Thats not really alot of money, considering the cost in most shops of things like xbox games (£40) i'd say in the long term pc's arn't that bad price-wise. i don't have a job, i haven't worked in almost 4 years now i'm a student and live on my loan only.
