That actually seems like quite a good idea.

I think the 300 million figure may be a little optomistic, especially in a country with less than 60 million population :^D
But a nice idea nonetheless.

I doubt it'd get the publicity and the mass involvement needed, but what the hell, I can manage to go to Texaco instead of Esso in future.
Coming from an apathist like myself, I think I've surprised myself.
Hell, I might even vote this time.. oh, postal ballot.

It'd better be freepost... :^D

But it would still make Esso/BP look twice, if suddenly hardly anyone bought from their own filling stations...

Not that it's likely to happen though.

Plus, that might mean buying tesco petrol, which doesn't have the deturgents in it (hence it being cheaper) and can cause your engine damage.

This was on here a few weeks ago. I'll say the same thing again. It wont work. The majority of the money you pay for petrol is TAX so its not the oil companies fault. We could have cheaper petrol like in America but would loose things like the NHS. Everything balances out altogether.

Im more excited about protesting the misappropriation of tax funds.

The hospital managers get so much more than the people responsible for actual healing, Im not saying that they dont deserve to be payed, but they get disproportionately large amounts of money compared to the hard working and economically thankless practicioners.

Not to mention the stupid and disgusting amount of money the celebrity-class have... I urge you not to buy another fitness video by non-entity #3

etc etc. Ahh armchair anarchy is fun.
